Farrah Bledsoe - Fitness Center Manager
Farrah Bledsoe is fiercely committed to helping people connect with their individual strength and realize the depth of their own power both mentally and physically through exercise and the benefits of great nutrition. Holding an ISSA certification in personal training, NASM Performance Enhancement Specialization and Nutrition Specialization, her techniques concentrate on progressive weight loss, strength training, toning, as well as building and defining muscle. She loves to use well-blended mixtures of cardiovascular exercise, weight training, plyometric, cross-fit training and HIIT to achieve the ultimate result for her client. Recognizing that every client is unique, she approaches each of her personal training sessions as the opportunity to create personalized and challenging concoctions of these various styles.
Roger Bradley - Certified Personal Trainer
Roger holds personal training certifications from AFAA, ACE, and ISSA as well as a bachelor of science in business administration. He is currently working on his master’s degree in health administration at Governors State University. Roger’s specialties include cardio kickboxing, fitness boxing and training for disabled veterans. His talents have been featured in Ebony magazine and the Star newspaper. The veteran of fitness also appeared as the guest trainer for a well-known Jamaican resort for a two-year span. Roger’s passion for working with his clients one-on-one shines through in the results he’s able to produce.
Chris Chapan - Fit 4 Fun Children's Fitness &
Special Recreation Inclusion Instructor
Chris Chapan is a certified trainer and group fitness instructor through ACE, AFAA, ISSA and SCW. She is also a certified elementary and special education teacher. Her desire for fitness began as she began her own fitness journey through exercise and lifestyle change that lead her to her first certification as a personal trainer. Her program consists of weight training, fun cardio and flexibility through a balanced program. In addition to working with children and special populations, she is also training a group for their first Chicago Marathon, writes fitness articles for various internet sites and magazines and does fitness related videos on Youtube under the channels of Fitness Manswers and Cchapan. She hopes by her classes and her influence that others will be motivated to make permanent changes that will last for life.
Patti Lowczyk - Yoga Instructor
Patti is a NESTA Certified Sports Instructor with 10 years of experience, who loves to help people improve their life through the many benefits of regular yoga practice. Some of the benefits reported by people in her class are: increased flexibility, better balance, and more energy. Every class includes work on breathing, posture, balance, core, strength and flexibility. Patti also incorporated some Tai Chi and Qi Gong into her classes, as both are complementary to yoga and help decrease stress.
Renee Redican - Yoga & Total Body Toning Instructor
Renee is certified in AFAA group exercise, YogaFit and Silver Sneakers. She has been leading classes for over ten years, as well as working as a registered dietician. Renee believes that every individual is capable of beneficial exercise, and enjoys encouraging her students to push themselves. She believes in providing a supportive atmosphere that nurtures growth and positive changes of the mind and body by combining healthy eating habits and physical activity.
Chrissy Samiec - Hard Body Blast, Step-N-Tone Boot Camp and Spinning Instructor
Chrissy has incorporated exercise into her daily life for over twenty years. She has been a health club group fitness instructor for the past ten years, specializing in Hard-Body and Step, Aerobics, and holds her certification as part of Aerobics & Fitness Association of America. Her passion for exercise is contagious. Fun and creativity are combined in all her classes. Her encouraging words, "Be strong, Stay strong," help create a positive, supportive atmosphere. At the present time, Chrissy is sharing her enthusiasm and love for exercise by teaching Hard-Body Blast on Tuesday, Aerobics Interval on Wednesday, and Step-N-Tone Boot Camp on Thursday, all at 6 pm. When she isn't instructing, you will find Chrissy full of energy, smiling and working out on one of the many machines at the Oak Forest Park District Health and Fitness Center, where she is so happy!
